Reporting a problem

Include these three things and it can usually be fixed without a second exchange:

• The forum's address, for example discuss.flarum.org
• What you tapped, and what happened instead of what you expected
• Your phone, and the app's version from the App Store or Google Play

Quick answers

A forum won't open. Check the address and that the forum runs Flarum. A members-only forum shows nothing until you log in, and a few forums sit behind a check that their admins have to relax.

You're logged in on the website but not in the app. They are separate. Open the forum in the app, go to Account and tap Log In.

Logging in with Google fails. Google refuses to log in inside apps' built-in pages. Use the forum's own password, or another provider the forum offers.

Why do I need an account on each forum? Every Flarum forum keeps its own members, and Flapp has no account of its own. Most public forums can be read without logging in.

How do I delete my account? Accounts belong to the forums, so delete yours on the forum's website, or ask its administrators. To forget a forum in the app, remove it from Home; to delete everything the app keeps, uninstall it.

Getting a forum listed. Email us its address. We check that it is active and readable without an account, then add it to the directory in a later update.

Reporting harmful content

To report a post or message, tap ⋮ on it and choose Flag; the report goes to that forum's moderators. To stop seeing someone, choose Ignore from the ⋮ menu on one of their posts. To report a forum, or a report a forum didn't act on, email us. For anything involving the abuse or exploitation of a child, email us the link, never the material itself: our Child Safety Standards say what we do.

The app sends us nothing about you. The Privacy Policy explains what it keeps on your phone.
